What Makes Us Different
Doctor-Led from the Start
Every treatment plan is established by our aesthetic trained doctors, who bring both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of how skin health connects to your broader aesthetic goals.
Effective Acne Management
Acne is one of the most undertreated skin conditions in aesthetic medicine. We offer medical-grade acne management that goes beyond topical products, addressing the underlying causes and creating a clear path toward healthier skin.
A Foundation for What Comes Next
Managing your skin condition is often the first step toward the aesthetic results you are ultimately looking for. We treat with that longer journey in mind from the very beginning.
Benign Skin Lesion Removal
We offer removal of skin tags and other benign skin lesions including seborrheic hyperplasia using electrocautery, a precise and effective in office procedure with minimal downtime.
Overview
Most patients who come to us for medical skin care have already tried the basics. The over the counter products, the skincare routines, maybe a prescription or two from a primary care visit that helped for a while and then stopped. What they are looking for is someone who will take their skin seriously, understand what is actually driving their concern, and build a plan that addresses it properly rather than managing symptoms indefinitely.
At PI Aesthetics medical skin care is doctor led and built around your specific skin, your history, and where you want to go. We manage acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation with a personalized approach that goes beyond surface level treatment. For many patients managing a skin condition is also the foundation of a longer aesthetic journey. Controlling acne, for example, is often the essential first step before microneedling, chemical peels, or other treatments can deliver the results a patient is ultimately looking for. We treat with that bigger picture in mind from the very beginning.
We also offer removal of skin tags and other benign skin lesions including seborrheic hyperplasia using electrocautery, a straightforward in office procedure with minimal downtime that addresses concerns many patients have quietly lived with for years without realizing how simple the solution actually is.
BEFORE & AFTER
Every Result Has a Story

Treatment type: Medical management of rosacea
Patient Concerns: She had been dealing with persistent breakouts in the central face for years, the kind that looked like acne but never quite responded the way acne should. Products marketed for acne were not working. What she was actually experiencing was papulopustular rosacea, a form of the condition that is frequently mistaken for acne and just as frequently undertreated as a result.
Treatment Plan: After a thorough skin assessment, her doctor identified the pattern and distribution of her breakouts as consistent with papulopustular rosacea rather than acne and developed a personalized treatment plan using prescription topical medications specifically targeted to the underlying inflammatory process driving her condition. The approach was tailored entirely to her skin and how it was responding rather than following a standard protocol.
Results: Her skin is clear. The breakouts that had followed her for years and resisted every product she tried have resolved, and her complexion is calm and even in a way she had not seen in a long time. She told us she finally feels confident in her skin and that having an answer after so many years of not knowing what she was actually dealing with was itself a relief.

"Helping patients finally see improvement in their acne after years of trying treatments that did not work is one of the most satisfying things I do. What I always tell my patients is that acne is a complex problem, and the solution is rarely one-size-fits-all. It takes patience, the right combination of medications, and often several months to find the approach that truly works for your specific skin. What makes the most difference is treating the disease from multiple directions simultaneously rather than relying on a single treatment and hoping for the best.”

"It is easy to underestimate how much of a difference a good daily skincare routine makes for skin health. I think of it like going to the dentist. Your teeth can look sparkling after a deep cleaning, but if you are not taking care of them every day they will end up right back where they started in a few months. Skin is exactly the same. The small things you do consistently every day often go the longest way. I love building personalized skincare routines with my patients because that daily foundation is what makes everything else we do last. Everyone should be on a topical retinoid, a mineral sunscreen, and a high-potency antioxidant cream. And please wear your sunscreen every day. Yes, even when it is not bright and sunny outside!"

My experience at PI Aesthetics has been amazing. Since my first appointment to now my skin has completely changed more than i could have imagined. The deep forehead wrinkles are gone, the texture of my skin improved, as well as my acne and redness nearly gone. Needless to say my skin was a hot mess. With the treatments recommended, and personalized skin care routine with quality products the change has been outstanding. I cannot remember the last time i felt comfortable out in public with no make-up. I’m very grateful to have found a place that i feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for by physicians i trust.

Your Consultation Is Where It All Starts
Before any treatment is discussed, your doctor sits down with you. Not a coordinator, not a patient intake manager. Your doctor.
Your doctor will begin by taking the time to understand what brought you in and what you are hoping to achieve. From there they will perform a comprehensive facial assessment, evaluating your unique anatomy, facial profile, skin condition, and movement patterns. They will share their findings, walk you through what they are seeing, and make sure you leave with a clear understanding of your options. This is not a formality. It is the foundation of everything that follows, because a plan that is right for someone else may not be right for you. We do not rush this part.
From there we walk you through your options honestly, discuss what we believe is appropriate, and build a personalized plan around your goals. We only recommend what we genuinely believe in, and we hold ourselves to the same standard we would expect for our own family.
You will leave with clarity, a plan you feel confident in, and every question answered. Whether you proceed with a treatment that day or not, you will leave informed.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What skin conditions do you treat?
We manage acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation, as well as benign skin lesions including skin tags, seborrheic hyperplasia and more. For many patients treating a skin condition is also the foundation of a broader aesthetic journey, and we approach each case with that bigger picture in mind.
Do you treat acne?
Yes. Acne is one of the most common concerns we see and one of the most undertreated in aesthetic medicine. We treat the full spectrum of acne presentations including comedones, inflammatory acne, and post inflammatory changes. We offer comprehensive medical grade acne management including topical treatments, oral medications, and antibiotics tailored to your specific skin and the underlying causes of your breakouts. Our goal is not just to control active acne but to create the clearest possible path toward the skin you are ultimately working toward.
Do you treat rosacea?
Yes. We manage rosacea with a personalized approach that addresses both the medical and aesthetic dimensions of the condition. In addition to medical management we also offer laser and IPL treatments that target the vascular changes associated with rosacea, giving us the ability to treat the condition comprehensively rather than just managing symptoms.
What is electrocautery and what can it treat?
Electrocautery is a precise in office procedure that uses controlled electrical current to remove benign skin lesions including skin tags and seborrheic hyperplasia. It is a straightforward treatment with minimal downtime that effectively addresses concerns many patients have lived with for years without realizing how simple the solution actually is. Your doctor will assess the lesion during your consultation to confirm it is an appropriate candidate for treatment.
How is this different from seeing a dermatologist?
Dermatologists are the appropriate choice for concerns that require biopsy, surgical excision, or complex dermatologic management. Our focus is on the intersection of medical skin care and aesthetic medicine, managing conditions like acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation in the context of your broader skin health and aesthetic goals. For concerns that fall outside our scope we will refer you to the right specialist. We are always honest about what we do and do not do.
Do you treat patients of all ages?
We treat adult patients only. We do not provide medical skin care treatment for patients under the age of 18.
How many visits will I need?
This depends on your specific skin condition, its severity, and how your skin responds to treatment. Some patients see meaningful improvement relatively quickly while others require a longer treatment course. Your doctor will give you a realistic estimate during your consultation and adjust your plan over time based on how your skin is responding.
Do you prescribe medications for skin conditions?
Yes. Depending on your specific concern and treatment plan, we prescribe a range of topical and oral medications including antibiotics and other prescription treatments. Every prescription is based on a thorough medical evaluation and tailored to your specific skin and history.
