Your Consultation Is Where It All Starts
Before any treatment is discussed, your doctor sits down with you. Not a coordinator, not a patient intake manager. Your doctor.
Your doctor will begin by taking the time to understand what brought you in and what you are hoping to achieve. From there they will perform a comprehensive facial assessment, evaluating your unique anatomy, facial profile, skin condition, and movement patterns. They will share their findings, walk you through what they are seeing, and make sure you leave with a clear understanding of your options. This is not a formality. It is the foundation of everything that follows, because a plan that is right for someone else may not be right for you. We do not rush this part.
From there we walk you through your options honestly, discuss what we believe is appropriate, and build a personalized plan around your goals. We only recommend what we genuinely believe in, and we hold ourselves to the same standard we would expect for our own family.
You will leave with clarity, a plan you feel confident in, and every question answered. Whether you proceed with a treatment that day or not, you will leave informed.
BEFORE & AFTER
Every Result Has a Story

Treatment type: Laser Hair Removal for Back and Neck
Patient Concerns: Back and neck hair had become a recurring frustration, especially during the summer months when it was most visible and most difficult to manage on his own. His neck hair in particular bothered him, blending into his beard in a way that felt unkempt and out of control no matter how often he shaved. He wanted a permanent solution rather than a constant maintenance routine.
Treatment Plan: We designed a personalized laser hair removal plan based on his skin type, hair color, and hair density, adjusting the treatment parameters across each of his six sessions to optimize results as his hair responded to treatment.
Results: The after photo was taken several weeks after his sixth session, with no shaving beforehand. The difference is exactly what he was looking for. He no longer needs help reaching his back and neck to shave, and the grooming routine that once followed him into every summer is simply gone. Summer arrived, and for the first time he was ready for it without giving it a second thought.
Overview
Most people who come to us for wrinkle relaxers are not looking for a dramatic transformation. They want to look like themselves, just without the fatigue and tension that has quietly accumulated over time. What they want most is to feel confident and look their best, in a way that leaves people noticing something is different but unable to quite put their finger on why.
That is exactly the outcome we design for. At PI Aesthetics, every treatment is planned around your specific anatomy, your facial movement, and what makes you look like you. Our aesthetic-trained doctors bring both clinical precision and artistic judgment to every consultation, because knowing where to treat is only half of the work. Knowing how much, and when to stop, is what separates a result you love from one you don’t.
Wrinkle relaxers can also address TMJ-related jaw tension, teeth grinding, and chronic jaw discomfort by calming the muscles responsible for those patterns. If that is part of your picture, it is worth bringing up during your consultation.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at PI Aesthetics! Thoa is knowledgeable, personable, kind, and just overall so skilled at what she does. I went to her for my first Botox experience, and I had no idea what to expect. She took the time to thoroughly explain things to me and made me feel super comfortable. The whole thing was so seamless. I’ve come back to her for laser hair removal and some additional skin care treatments, and I’m super happy with all of my results. She has a great way of educating/explaining your options without pressuring you into doing anything you’re not ready for. Plus, she truly makes you feel like she’s known you for years. I will never go anywhere else :)

Treatment type: Wrinkle relaxers for Forehead, between the brows (11's) and Crows Feet
Patient Concerns: She was getting enough sleep but her face was not showing it. The tension in her upper face made her look more tired and serious than she actually felt, and her expressions were not reflecting how she wanted to come across.
Treatment Plan: We designed a personalized plan to relax the upper face and around the eyes just enough to soften that tension while keeping her expressions natural.
Results: She loves her results. She looks and feels more rested. People close to her noticed something was different and told her she looked great, but could not quite put their finger on why. That is exactly the outcome we design for.

Treatment: Wrinkle relaxers for crow's feet.
Patient Concern: The lines around her eyes had deepened over time to the
point where they were the first thing she noticed in the mirror, making her look more tired and older than she actually felt on the inside. What bothered her most was that the tension around her eyes had gradually changed their shape, softening an almond shape she had always loved and that felt like a defining part of her face.
Treatment Plan: We focused treatment precisely around the outer eye area,
softening the muscles responsible for those deeper lines and that inward tension. Bringing her outside into alignment with how she feels inside, and to restore something she had quietly missed.
Results: The lines softened, the tension released, and the shape of her eyes came back in a way that felt completely natural. She looked rested. She finally felt like her face and eyes was matching the person she knew herself to be.

Treatment: Wrinkle relaxers for the forehead and between the eyebrows (11's)
Patient Concern: She had noticed gradual changes in her face over time, but it was hearing from people close to her that she looked tired or seemed to be aging quickly that finally brought her in. Her face was not reflecting how she actually felt.
Treatment Plan: We focused on the forehead and the area between the brows, where years of expression and tension had created lines that were reading as tiredness. We designed a plan to soften that tension precisely while preserving her natural expressiveness.
Results: The lines softened, the heaviness between her brows lifted, and her face came back into alignment with how she actually felt. The comments from people close to her shifted too. Instead of asking if she was tired, they told her she looked great. She left feeling like the outside had finally caught up with the inside.
What our doctors have to say about wrinkle relaxers
"Neuromodulators, also known as wrinkle relaxers, are one of my favorite treatments. The results require a higher degree of artistry than most people realize. There are plenty of standard approaches out there, but the best results come when your doctor has the experience and knowledge to adjust the treatment to your individual muscles and anatomy, creating something that is truly tailored to you. The difference it makes in appearance is remarkable, especially over time."
– Federico Fenton MD
"Wrinkle relaxers truly make a difference, and not just in how people look. When those lines soften and that tension releases, something shifts. Patients carry themselves differently, feel more at ease, and show up to their day with a quiet confidence they had been missing. My favorite moments are when patients come back and tell me that people close to them have been asking if they went on vacation or are getting more rest, or commenting that they look great but cannot quite put their finger on why. That is exactly what we are going for. It is our little secret."

FAQs
Wrinkle relaxers, also known as neuromodulators, are injectable treatments that work by gently relaxing targeted facial muscles to soften fine lines and wrinkles while preserving your natural expression. At PI Aesthetics, we carry multiple brands to ensure we select the right product for your specific goals and anatomy.
For many first-time patients, the biggest hesitation is seeing frozen or expressionless results in others and worrying that the same could happen to them. At PI Aesthetics, natural-looking results are not just a goal, they are our standard.
Results typically last between 3 and 4 months, though this varies depending on the areas treated, the product used, and individual factors such as muscle activity and metabolism. Around week 6 you will gradually begin to notice movement returning, with full baseline muscle activity resuming by the end of the cycle.
The most commonly treated areas are the forehead, the lines between the brows, and crow's feet. Wrinkle relaxers can also be used to treat jaw tension and teeth grinding by calming overactive chewing muscles, as well as other areas, depending on your goals. Your doctor will assess which areas are appropriate for you during your consultation
Cost depends on the areas treated and the amount of product required. Wrinkle relaxer treatments at PI Aesthetics typically start at $400 per session. During your consultation, we will assess the amount needed and provide you with an accurate price.
Like all medical treatments, neuromodulators carry known risks. We address these thoroughly during your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision. Our team is specifically trained to manage possible complications, and we approach every treatment with a high degree of clinical care and thoughtfulness.
In the days before your treatment, we recommend avoiding alcohol and, if medically able, NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and other medications that can increase bleeding.
There is no expected downtime. Some mild redness or tenderness at the injection sites is normal and typically resolves quickly.
Results typically begin to appear within 3 to 5 days and continue to develop over the following two weeks, by which time the full effect can be appreciated. We schedule your follow-up appointment after that point to assess your results once they have fully settled.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is a medical treatment that uses concentrated light energy to target and damage hair follicles, reducing hair growth over time. At PI Aesthetics, treatments are performed by trained medical providers using advanced laser technology to deliver safe and effective results.
What areas can be treated?
Laser hair removal can be performed on most areas of the body, including the face, underarms, legs, bikini area, back, chest, and more. Your doctor will assess the treatment area during your consultation and create a plan tailored to your goals.
Is laser hair removal effective?
Laser hair removal is highly effective (85-90% hair reduction), but the outcome depends significantly on two factors: the quality of the device used and the expertise of the provider operating it. In our experience, more than half of the results depend on the provider's ability to select the right settings for your specific combination of skin tone, hair type, and hair thickness. This requires meaningful clinical experience and a thorough assessment before each session. The remaining outcome depends on the quality of the laser machine itself. At PI Aesthetics, we use advanced laser technology, and our treatments are performed by trained medical providers who take the time to personalize your settings on every visit. This is typically what separates a treatment that delivers lasting results from one that falls short of expectations.
I have heard not all skin tones can be treated with laser hair removal, is that true?
This is an important and common question. Traditionally, laser hair removal worked best on patients with lighter skin tones and darker hair, as the laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle. Treating darker skin tones with certain lasers carries a higher risk of pigment changes or burns. However, advances in laser technology have expanded the range of skin tones that can be safely and effectively treated. At PI Aesthetics, we will assess your skin type and hair color during your consultation and recommend the most appropriate treatment approach for you.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients require between 6 and 8 sessions to achieve significant hair reduction, though some cases may require more. This is because laser energy is only effective on hair follicles in the active growth phase, which is why multiple sessions spaced over time are necessary. Sessions are typically spaced 4 to 12 weeks apart, depending on the area being treated, and maintenance sessions may be needed over time. Your doctor will give you a realistic estimate during your consultation based on your specific hair and skin type.
What is the cost of laser hair removal?
Cost depends on the area being treated (small, medium or large) and the number of sessions required. It is worth noting that treatment quality directly affects the total cost over time. A high-quality machine operated by a provider who understands how to select the right settings will maximize results and can reduce the number of sessions needed overall.
What are the risks?
Like all medical treatments, laser hair removal carries known risks. We address these thoroughly during your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision. Our team is specifically trained to manage possible complications, and we approach every treatment with a high degree of clinical care and thoughtfulness.
What should I avoid before my treatment?
In the weeks before your treatment, we recommend avoiding sun exposure, tanning, and hair removal methods that remove the root such as waxing, plucking or threading. Shaving is fine and is actually required before your sessions. Certain medications and skincare products may also need to be paused. Your doctor will provide you with specific preparation instructions during your consultation.
What should I expect after treatment, and is there any downtime?
Most patients experience mild redness and sensitivity in the treated area for a short period after treatment, which typically resolves within a few hours. Downtime is not expected.
When will I see results?
You will notice a reduction in hair growth after each session, with results becoming more significant as your treatment series progresses. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed to treat all follicles effectively. After each session there is a typical cycle to expect: for the first one to two weeks hair may appear to grow normally, then it begins to shed. This is followed by a period of little to no hair growth, after which some hair will start to return, though noticeably less than before. That point of regrowth is the ideal time for your next session.

"Laser hair removal is one of those treatments whose impact is easy to underestimate until you experience it yourself. I have had my back, neckline, and beard area treated, and the difference in time, effort, and day to day convenience is genuinely life changing. I especially wish more men knew about this. Something as simple as never having to shave the back of your neck again sounds small until you realize how much mental and physical energy goes into that routine over years. From a clinical standpoint what I always tell my patients is that results depend enormously on how well the laser parameters are calibrated to your specific skin and hair. Effective laser hair removal is never one size fits all, and anyone using default machine settings is leaving results on the table."

"I love when a patient tells me they wore their bikini or their favorite skirt without needing to plan when to shave. We spend so much time and energy on something we have just accepted as part of life, and the moment that changes, patients always say the same thing: I cannot believe I waited this long. In this day and age nobody should be spending that much time shaving. You have more important things to do with your time. Stop it!"

What our doctors have to say about wrinkle relaxers
Overview
Laser hair removal is one of the most practical investments you can make in how you look and feel day to day. No more planning around shaving, no more irritation, no more asking someone to help reach the spots you cannot. Just smooth, lasting results that fit quietly into your life without demanding anything from it.
What most people do not realize is that the quality of your result depends as much on the expertise behind the treatment as it does on the technology delivering it. The right laser for your skin type, set to the right parameters for your hair color, density, and history, is what separates meaningful permanent reduction from disappointing results. At PI Aesthetics every treatment protocol is established by our aesthetic trained doctors and calibrated specifically to you. We do not use default settings. We read your skin and build your treatment around what it actually needs.
We treat the full range of skin tones safely and effectively. For patients with darker skin, that matters more than it might seem. Treating darker skin types with laser requires both the right technology and the clinical judgment to use it correctly. We have both, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Laser hair removal is also not just for women. Male patients come to us for everything from full back and chest treatments to precise neckline and beard definition. Results typically require a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart, and your doctor will give you a clear and honest picture of what to expect during your consultation.
