PI Aesthetics was founded in 2020 by Thoa Fenton, DNP, inspired by her experiences as a hospitalist, mother, and community advocate. Through caring for acutely ill patients, she witnessed firsthand how stress, burnout, and self-neglect can affect both physical and mental well-being.

PI Aesthetics was founded in 2022 by Thoa Fenton DNP, inspired by her experiences as a hospitalist, mother, and community advocate. Through years of caring for acutely ill patients she witnessed firsthand how stress, burnout, and self-neglect affect both physical and mental wellbeing.
Her sense of purpose deepened while serving on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she experienced the transformative power of community support during an unprecedented crisis. Those experiences shaped a belief that true wellness extends beyond the absence of illness and must include self-care, confidence, and personal empowerment.
Federico Fenton MD MBA joined as co-owner shortly after, bringing clinical expertise in aesthetic medicine, advanced ultrasound training, and a background in business rooted in the belief that companies exist to create value for their patients, their team, and their community, not just their bottom line. Together they built PI Aesthetics into a practice committed to helping patients feel genuinely confident and empowered in their lives, while supporting their community in meaningful ways.
Our Approach to Aesthetic Medicine
Natural Looking Results
We believe good aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural features, not change them. This requires understanding your individual anatomy, facial proportions, movement patterns, goals, and what makes you look like you. It also requires a level of artistry that goes beyond technical knowledge, the ability to see proportion, balance, and harmony, and translate that into results that feel completely like you. Natural results are part of the clinical standard we have built our entire practice around, and that standard requires knowing not just where to treat and by how much, but also when to stop.

A great aesthetic outcome is only meaningful when it translates into something real in your life that goes beyond your physical appearance. The Training Behind the Care
Aesthetic medicine is an industry without a universal or national standard of medical training. This stands in stark contrast to most areas of medicine, where training is highly regulated and standardized, from training program requirements to licensures, board certifications, and continuing education development. In aesthetic medicine no such standard exists, and the gap between providers in terms of training, expertise, and clinical judgment can be significant. At PI Aesthetics, we believe this standard matters, and we hold ourselves to a level of clinical rigor, ongoing education, and evidence-based practice that reflects that belief. We are constantly seeking advanced training opportunities and investing significant time and effort to stay at the forefront of our field, because we believe that is what our patients deserve.
One concrete expression of that commitment is our use of ultrasound guidance for filler treatments and filler dissolution procedures. Ultrasound is a powerful tool, but its value depends entirely on the skill and training of the person using it. Interpreting what you see beneath the skin in real time, understanding the anatomy, and making precise clinical decisions based on that information requires advanced expertise that goes well beyond simply having the equipment available. Our doctors have invested years in developing that expertise, including teaching ultrasound techniques to other medical providers.

The way we measure success at PI Aesthetics is not by how many patients we see in a day. It is by how well we know, understand, and take care of the ones we see. Understanding your history, your goals, and how your needs evolve over time allows us to provide genuinely personalized guidance. One example of this is our partnership with Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, an organization that works to rebuild confidence, safety, and a sense of self for those who need it most, values that align deeply with our own mission.

Meet the Team
Dr. Thoa Fenton DNP
Co-founder and Medical Director
Thoa is a double board-certified nurse practitioner. She earned her post-graduate ARNP degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has been recognized as a top provider by Seattle Met for several consecutive years. While she practices across the full range of aesthetic treatments, dermal fillers are where her passion runs deepest. She is known for her artistic eye, her genuine connection with patients, and her belief that the best aesthetic outcomes come from truly understanding the person in front of her.
Thoa loves exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family, discovering new trails, lakes, and beaches, staying active, and running whenever she gets the chance.
Dr. Federico Fenton MD MBA
Co-founder and Physician
Federico is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. He serves as the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Director for a local medical university and brings that same standard of precision and clinical rigor to every aesthetic treatment he performs. His approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, continuous education, and a genuine belief that aesthetic outcomes should never come at the expense of safety. He holds an MBA and built PI Aesthetics on the conviction that a business should create real value for its patients, its team, and its community, not just its bottom line. For Federico medicine and purpose have always gone hand in hand.
Federico likes to stay active, learning new skills, and can usually be found planning his next DIY home project.
Adelina Niskanen ME
Master Esthetician and certified Phlebotomist
Adelina trained at the Washington Laser Institute. A lifelong Washington native, she has always had a passion for skincare that delivers real, visible results while emphasizing comfort and care. She believes in finding the perfect balance between clinical-grade treatments and a calming patient experience. Her dedication to excellence and ongoing education ensures that every patient receives care that reflects the highest standards of her craft.
Outside of the treatment room, Adelina can be found exploring new restaurants, camping in the Pacific Northwest, perfecting her pickleball game, or catching a new movie with friends.

Clinic Manager
Lily brings warmth, calm, and genuine care to every patient interaction from the moment they walk through the door. With a background in aesthetics and a natural ability to make people feel heard and at ease, she creates a welcoming environment that sets the tone for the entire patient experience. Behind the scenes, Lily keeps the clinic running with the same attention to detail and quiet efficiency that defines everything she does. She is proud to be part of a team dedicated to excellence and to supporting patients on their journey toward feeling their best.

Marketing and Brand Manager
Stephanie has a lifelong passion for art, design, and visual storytelling to everything she creates. She is driven by a desire to translate ideas and brand values into visual experiences that genuinely connect with people. At PI Aesthetics she is drawn to the human side of the work, listening to patient stories, witnessing the moments of renewed confidence after treatment, and finding ways to capture those genuine transformations and share them with the world.
Stephanie believes that the best moments in life come from being open to new experiences, from learning to snowboard and getting scuba certified to cooking classes and traveling.
