Overview
For many patients the area beneath the chin is the one place that does not respond to diet or exercise, no matter how well they take care of themselves everywhere else. Kybella® is the only FDA approved injectable treatment for submental fullness, the area of fat beneath the chin that creates the appearance of a double chin. It contains a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body and breaks down fat cells on contact. Once those cells are destroyed they are gradually eliminated by the body, producing a more defined jawline and profile over the course of your treatment series.
