Facial structures, blood vessels, and muscle patterns vary significantly from person to person, and that visibility allows us to treat with a level of precision and safety that simply is not possible without it.

What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels used to help restore lost volume, smooth deep lines, and balance facial features in a natural-looking way. At PI Aesthetics, we exclusively use hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, a substance that occurs naturally in your body.
Will my results look natural?
For many first-time patients, the biggest hesitation is seeing bad results in others and worrying that the same could happen to them. At PI Aesthetics, natural-looking results are not just a goal; they are our standard. The before-and-after images on this page show you exactly what that means in practice.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Most HA fillers last between 9 and 18 months, though this varies depending on the area treated, the product used, and how your body metabolizes it. Your doctor will give you realistic expectations during your consultation based on your specific treatment plan.
How many syringes will I need?
This depends entirely on your unique facial anatomy, your goals, and the areas being treated. There is no one-size-fits-all answer, which is exactly why we conduct a thorough facial assessment before making any recommendations. Your doctor will walk you through a personalized plan at your consultation.
What is the cost of dermal fillers?
Cost depends not only on the amount of product use, but also on the area being treated and the level of skill required for each treatment. Results like those seen in our before-and-after images often require 2 to 5 syringes, with a total cost ranging from $1,500 to $3,500 or more. One exception is the lips, which costs around $850. Your doctor will give you a more accurate picture during your consultation once your goals and treatment plan are established.
What are the risks of dermal fillers, and how do you manage them?
Like all medical treatments, dermal fillers carry known risks. We address these thoroughly during your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision. Our team is specifically trained to manage possible complications, and we approach every treatment with a high degree of clinical care and thoughtfulness.
Why do you use ultrasound for filler treatments?
Ultrasound provides real-time visibility beneath the skin, increasing both safety and precision in ways that are simply not possible without it. It allows us to assess your unique anatomy before treatment, evaluate any previously placed filler, and manage complications effectively if they arise. In our view, ultrasound guidance represents the current standard of excellence for filler treatments and is a core part of how we practice.
Can fillers be reversed?
Yes. Because we exclusively use hyaluronic acid fillers, they can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. This is one of the reasons we choose HA fillers. In the rare case that a result needs adjustment or a complication arises, having that option matters.
What should I avoid before and after my appointment?
In the days before your treatment, we recommend avoiding alcohol and, if medically able, NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and other medications that can increase bleeding. Your doctor will review your specific medications during your consultation and advise accordingly.
What should I expect after treatment, and is there any downtime?
Most patients experience mild swelling and tenderness in the treated areas, which typically resolves within a few days. Significant pain is not expected. With few exceptions, downtime is not expected.
When will I see my results?
Results are visible immediately after treatment. However, final outcomes typically take 4-8 weeks to appreciate, as it takes time for the hyaluronic acid to fully integrate.

From there we walk you through your options honestly, discuss what we believe is appropriate, and build a personalized plan around your goals. We only recommend what we genuinely believe in, and we hold ourselves to the same standard we would expect for our own family.
You will leave with clarity, a plan you feel confident in, and every question answered. Whether you proceed with a treatment that day or not, you will leave informed.

Patient Concerns: This PI Aesthetics patient did not like her under eyes appearing "tired and hollow" and the "deep lines" in her inner cheeks, leading to an appearance of tiredness and cheek volume loss.
Treatment Plan: We created a personalized treatment to restore mid-face volume loss, leading to a rejuvenated appearance while still maintaining her unique personal facial features. Results like this require several syringes of filler (between 3 and 5).
